United States too weak and will not be on the final scene
When I was younger, I was fascinated with Bible prophecy. When one truly studies it, then a hgher respect goes toward the Bible and the good book truly stands out from all other historical documents.
The one thing I could not find was the role for United States, during the last 7 years of this age. Some authors have attempted to identify United States as one of the ten kingdoms, or mystery Babylon. However, Mystery Babylon is a religion or ideaology in play. Lets look at the prophecy and the ten kingdoms.
In the Old Testament King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream, but did not know what the dream meant. He had all his prophets, seers, and wise people rounded up and tell him what it meant. None could do so. It should be noted Nebuchadneszzar did not tell them the dream. They had to tell the king the dream and what it meant. You have to give it the king. He was smart enough to know if the dream was told to them, something would be made up. Finally Daniel comes on the scene and he tells the king what he dreamed and the meaning.
The prophecy of Daniel chapter two, with the Revelation chapter 13 refer to one and the same prophecy.
In Daniel chapter two, verses 41 through 43.
41: And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.
42: And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
43: And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
The last ten kingdoms on earth is made of iron and part clay. Not just any clay, miry clay. The miry clay is dirty religion or beliefs. The clean clay symbolized pure and holy religion. It should be noted these last ten kingdoms will have a false, dirty religion. In verse 42 the mention of “partly strong, and partly broken” indicates during the last days, some of the ten kingdoms will be more powerful than the others. Verse 43, “they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another” may indicate a selfish people, doing what they feel like doing, rather than helping each other.
We also find with Psalm 83.
"3. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee."
The hatred of Israel is what the iron could be as well. Although the ten kingdoms do not cleave together (get along), they have one common core (iron), which is the hatred of Israel.
Philip Goodman has an excellent article titled, The Identity of the 7 Heads and the 10 Horns on the Beast of Revelation 13. The article goes into much greater detail than the article here. The 10 toes and 10 horns are the same kingdoms in discussion.
The identified kingdoms are below. 10 will be the 10 toes/horns, while one will emerge as the little horn. United States is not found in the list.
1. Britain
2. France
3. Spain
4. Italy
5. Germany
6. Greece
7. Turkey
8. Syria
9. Egypt
10. Iraq
11. Iran
When I inquired with my pastor at the time about where United States will be, his response was quick. “United States will be insignificant”. In other words, it’s not mentioned, because it’s not even noteworthy. Another way to look at it is, United States will be powerless.
Many thoughts of the demise of United States have come up. A war destroying us, the current fiat system will crash, and here lately the overburden debt will leave us too weak to have a say in anything.
With all eyes on our bumbling President in his ineptness of handling Syria, one starts to question if we are already powerless. Let’s face it Russia’s President Putin came out as the winner in this last 48 hours. Ron Fournier, describes our US President as, a fumbling and flip-flopping and marble-mouthing, undercut of his credibility bafoon on his handling of Syria. President Assad calls Obama weak. President Putin calls Obama a skinny man, and why should he be afraid of him, after Obama calls him a dick.
United States debt increases, scandals from this Administration increases, with no returned action against the killing of our Americans at Bengazi. All this while Obama is pointing fingers, making enemies and causing United States to look weak around the world. Additoinally, when not playing golf, the vacations cost this President has accrued by August is skyrocketing.
United States may not require an attack to physically decimate it out of the last scene. Rather, the enemy within may slowly kill the once great Nation.
